Aquila
Built for success
With more than twenty-five years of experience in diagnostic ultrasound design and with feedback from many of the thousands of customers, a young and dedicated team of engineer
s, working in a creative environment has now achieved another milestone, the Aquila.
With the Aquila, ESAOTE delivers an attractive, space-saving design, encompassing great versatility, reliability and a combination of features found in high-end scanners.
Proof of this is the implementation of the latest developments in sub-miniature technologies such as In-circuit, Electrical Programmable Logic Devices (EPLD) and Fine Pitch Surface Mount Technologies (SMT).
The Aquila is built for success.
Versatility
The unique combination of an intuitive user interface, a wide range of probes, an excellent image quality and more than adequate penetration power makes the Aquila a truly versatile system.
Features
The Aquila comes loaded with many valuable features. These include a compact flash card, cine memory, Total Image Focus, CRII image processing, extensive calculation packages, multi-language user interface, and field-upgradeable software.
Total Image Focus -Total Image Focus assures the best possible ultrasound beam focusing over the full display depth.
Compact Flash Card- The Aquila diskette drive stores user- and application- settings, reports and images in a common PC-readable format. Furthermore it enables easy software upgrades.
Cine memory - An advanced dual B/M mode cine memory with automatic bi-directional replay is a standard feature of the Aquila.
Mobile design trolley - The Aquila is also available with an intelligently thought-out trolley which offers space for a video printer.
Applications
Gynecology - High resolution and tissue differentiation with both abdominal and endovaginal probes is essential, as is the right software package. ESAOTE has taken these facts as the basis for the design of the Aquila.
Obstetrics - An obstetric ultrasound study can often be more than routine. In cases where pathology is suspected, only an ultrasound scanner with the image quality and features of the Aquila will do.
